Body Scripting:

A way to investigate experientially

Interview as seen in Movement Research’s Critical Correspondence, April 12th, 2023

Tamar Rogoff has been insisting for forty years on new ways to experience the practice of movement and making way for autonomy, exploration and diversity while training. She has developed a practice that allows multiple bodies with multiple ranges of movement and accommodations to be able to access training and performance that value experiential knowledge. For a short moment, while we read this conversation, we are immersed in experiencing what Body Scripting is. We are challenged to go beyond the traditional structure of training and give ourselves permission to explore freely with what shows up or is revealed through the experience, range and particularities of our unique bodies.
